All supplies are provided in this beginners knitting class for children 7 years and older. Your child will learn the basics of knitting; skills that will improve your child's concentration, fine motor skills and bring them endless joy. For both boys and girls! High quality - all natural - yarn, vibrant with color and soft to the touch, await your child in this knitting class intended for new beginners.
Taught by Cindy Konrad. Cindy is a local Outdoor Educator and Waldorf Trained Handwork Teacher who stops at every lemonade stand because investing in our children is the best way to build a healthy community.

Come enjoy a morning of creating beautiful mosaics. We offer a variety of projects to choose from including glass on glass mosaics, turn a cigar box into a jewelry box, or any number of other possibilities. Great for beginners or advanced. This is a great opportunity to learn techniques and be inspired. We provide the materials and tools you will need. Priced per project based on reasonable material fees. Additional hours to continue working on projects are offered for $15 based on a 2 hour block. Coffee and tea are always available. You are welcome to bring any other food or drink to sustain you while creating.

Come enjoy an open, well lit space, where you can use our tools, spread out and loose yourself in creativity. Great for that project you've been meaning to get to or pick from the many projects we have available here. Coffee and tea available and you are always welcome to bring any other food and drink.
Soap Making and Natural Beauty
Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 with Sarah Bryant
Learn the Ancient Art of Soap Making or how to make your own custom lip balm and other natural beauty products. Lindy La Roche of Poppy Soap Co. will teach you how to create your own custom scent using pure essential oils. You leave with lovely products as well as the knowledge and recipes needed to make at home.
For Kids 6 and up. Partisipants will have the opportunities for honing basic woodworking skills, as well as plenty of stitching and glueing. Projects include tiny leprechauns, woolly eggs, spinning tops and garden art. Each week participants will be invited to develop a variety of skills as they hammer, sand, drill, stitch, nip, felt, glue and sculpt. $15/ class. 10% discount for paying for 4 week block.
Taught by Sarah Bryant a local teacher with 20 years of experience teaching science outdoor skills, nature study, wood working, sewing, cooking and knitting. She has taught in kayaks, gardens, sailboats, classrooms and living rooms. She enjoys sharing the joy of sticks, wool, needles, thread, paint and hammers with children of all ages.
